Ixora User Agreement

1. Introduction & Core Purpose

Welcome to Ixora, the habit-tracking app that turns your daily routines into a thriving virtual garden. This User Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of the Ixora mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively referred to as "the Service"). By accessing or using Ixora, you agree to be bound by these terms, designed to foster a positive, productive, and respectful community focused on personal growth.

Ixora is built to empower you to build consistent habits, visualize progress, and celebrate milestones—all without requiring a user account. We prioritize your autonomy and convenience, letting you start tracking immediately without sign-up or login barriers.

2. Account-Free Usage

One of Ixora’s core features is its account-free access. You may use all core functionality—including planting virtual habit seeds, tracking daily completions, growing unique plants, viewing progress charts, and setting custom reminders—without creating an account, providing personal information, or logging in. This design ensures:

• Instant access to habit tracking without onboarding friction
• No risk of lost data due to forgotten credentials
• Full control over your local data storage
• Enhanced privacy by minimizing data collection

Please note that while no account is required, all your habit data and virtual garden progress will be stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data will result in permanent loss of this information, as we do not store your data on external servers.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Ixora, you agree to the following responsibilities to maintain a healthy and respectful experience for all:

• Use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to habit tracking and personal development
• Refrain from using Ixora to engage in harmful, illegal, or disruptive activities, including but not limited to harassment, spam, or attempts to disrupt the app’s functionality
• Take full responsibility for securing your device and protecting your local habit data from unauthorized access
• Provide accurate and truthful information when using any optional features that may require input (e.g., custom habit names, reminder messages)
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding digital usage and data privacy

4. App Features & Functionality

Ixora offers a range of features designed to support your habit-building journey, including:

• Virtual seed planting: Each new habit you create is represented as a virtual seed, which grows into a unique plant (e.g., sunflowers, glowing mushrooms) as you maintain consistency
• Daily tracking: Mark habit completions to nurture your virtual garden and watch your plants flourish
• Progress visualization: Access insightful charts and metrics to review your streaks, consistency, and long-term growth
• Custom reminders: Set personalized notifications to stay on track with your daily habits
• Milestone celebrations: Receive in-app rewards and recognition for hitting key habit milestones (e.g., 7-day streaks, 30-day consistency)

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at our discretion to improve the user experience, with prior notice where feasible.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Ixora app, including but not limited to the design, graphics, text, logos, virtual plant assets, and software code, are owned by Ixora or its licensors. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without explicit written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use Ixora’s branding, logos, or assets for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without authorization

Your habit data and custom content (e.g., custom habit names, reminder messages) remain your intellectual property, stored locally on your device.

6. Data Storage & Local Use

As Ixora operates without user accounts, all your habit data, virtual garden progress, and custom settings are stored exclusively on your device. This means:

• We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal habit data on our servers
• Your data is only accessible to you through the app on your device
• Uninstalling the app or clearing app data will permanently delete all your local data
• We cannot recover your data if it is lost or deleted from your device

We encourage you to back up your device regularly to protect your habit data from accidental loss.

7. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to provide uninterrupted access to Ixora, but we do not guarantee continuous, error-free service. We may:

• Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• Modify or discontinue features, pricing, or availability of the Service at any time
• Release updates to improve performance, security, or functionality

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or service disruptions through in-app announcements or our official channels.

8. Termination of Use

You may stop using Ixora at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or attempt to disrupt the app’s functionality. In such cases, we will not be liable for any loss of data or access to features.
